On Christmas Eve we had a family party and Kyle and Shannon's. Of course yummy food was served and fun was had.
Most of the kids spent lots of time playing down stairs and hanging out. It's crazy to think that all these kids came from us cousins!

We decided to find out what gender of baby we were having on Christmas Eve. When I had an ultrasound I had the tech wrap a blue or pink ribbon around a stuffed monkey and wrap it up so we couldn't see it.
And IT"S A BOY!!
Kenny was a little disappointed at first. She and I had a great talk about how she is going to be such a great big sister to her three brothers and how there must be a reason we are having another boy. I told her that her and I would be sure to do lots of girl stuff together and that she was going to be pretty spoiled. She has her moments of wanting a sister but for the most part she is happy to have another brother.
After the Christmas Eve party we headed back to my parents to open the traditional Christmas P.J.s

We skyped with Jordan and Lacey for a little bit.
We tried to keep up the tradition of all of us sleeping in the same room. We had Gen and Drew in one bed, Josh and I in another, Connor and Lawson together and then Chase and Kenny had separate beds on the other side of the room. I looked up knock knock jokes on my phone to help keep that tradition up as well.
The kids slept great and we even had to wake them up in the morning to get the party started.
